Display and notification preferences

Language, timezone, date format, theme, brand colour, font size, reduced motion — and which notifications you get.

1. Open Administration → Settings → General. Choose language, timezone and date format; the preview updates immediately. Student portal sign-in identity decides whether new learner accounts use the learner's personal email or an institution-issued address.
2. Open Appearance. Choose Light, Dark or System; pick a Brand Color; turn on Reduced Motion if you want it; choose Small, Medium or Large font and Save Changes.
3. Open Notifications. Toggle email, push and marketing notifications; expect Notification preference saved. Test sends a test message; push delivery also needs the browser's notification permission, which the page does not request just because it was opened.
